Oh…what a day! Steph & Tom – married!
Love what you see? Share on FB and be sure to leave a comment for Steph and Tom at the bottom of the Blog for them to enjoy while honeymooning – they’ll really dig it!
Gees, I don’t know where to start. I mean this day was a few things:
- A little emotional
- Full of epic dance moves
- Partial nudity (boys prep!?!?!)
- And most of all….full of wonderful hand holding, good ol’ fashioned love!
- Oh and it was hot…and moist 😀
Not often said, I would recommend you start at the end of the images and work your way up. This will give you a feel to the day, the people, the fun – you’ll see what I mean.
Back to the start……
It was a great start to the day with the boys – belts were being trimmed, hair gel was being passed around, and a few tunes being played out by “Shaggy” on guitar and Tom on piano. Quite civil, quite mature and elegant.
Then we hit the garden…..
….and the pants fell away.
I’m not sure what happened or which of the boys came up with the idea, but it seemed quite the norm with the guys – a cracker start to the day. As most people that know my work, I like to always try and get that ‘weird’ shot of the day…Ummm, tick!
Over to the Windsor Sebel for the girls and everything was a fog of hairspray, bobby pins, baby feeds and accessories. Steph finished prep and the girls wrangled her into a stunning dress. This lovely spread of material when separated and being adjusted looked a little like one of those lovely cloud formations that rise high into the sky from a low altitude. Perfect for Steph and just graceful.
Over to the Sydney Polo Club and by now the weather was really warming up. Guests were greeted to a wonderful spread on the grass, gracefully positioned under the trees lining the main field – just beautiful. I was delighted to see Mark (Dad) well enough to walk his girl down the aisle. Being a father myself now, this is one of those things I think you got to/want to do in your life. Good on ya buddy!
The ceremony was beautifully delivered by Steph’s brother Luke, who had just the right humorous twist of brotherly love marrying these two forever. We then headed off to a few pics around the property while guests enjoyed afternoon tea and the odd game of cricket.
I loooooovvvve these location images! Nuff said, just check em’ out!
The reception was held on the grounds pavilion – perfect spot and now perfect weather for an alfresco evening. It wasn’t long before the expected mosh-pit from the boys developed. Somehow Alex (also our MC for the day) seemed to always end up in the middle of the scrum, or on the bottom of it. On that basis I’m not sure whether his nickname from the evening should either:
- The Instigator
- The Hero
- The Target
You choose 🙂
This is a day I will remember for some time for a lot of reasons. Phew, thanks guys, epic! Cheers, M
